Journey – Young Adults class (Room 304)
Married, Married w/children, & Singles
We gather together on Sunday mornings to share our struggles and triumphs with following Jesus. Bible study includes: topical, current events, video, book studies, and social justice.
Phase 3 gathers together as a community for fellowship and fun. We have girls/guys night out, go bowling, cookouts, and other good stuff.
NorthStar Community Recovery Class – Office Break Room
Class for anyone and everyone interested in learning about the Biblical principles for healing and recovery. This a safe and supportive place for anyone struggling with compulsive thinking and behaviors, substance abuse and/or relationship recovery.
Phil Russell Class (Room 206) Teachers: Paula Fearnow and Susan McGhee
Married and Single Adults. Lots of discussion, we love to learn more by listening to each other. Very involved supporting each other in all aspects of our lives.
New Grace Class (Room 210) Teacher: Jan Campbell
Our bible studies are based and current culturally relevant topics; we use a variety of literature along with occasional book studies. We enjoy and encourage participation in discussions that reflect our life experiences.
ESL Bible Study (Room 210) Teacher – Mae Antkievicz
All ages all nationalities! Learning about English and God’s love at the same time. Come share your culture, enthusiasm to learn and your love of God.
Virginia Starke Class (Room 207) Teachers: Frank Antkievicz
Couples and Singles Bible studies for life. We Study the bible and how it fits into our lives today. Lots of fun and lively class participation through questions related in our studies.
Faith Class (Room 211) Teacher: Jean Grogan Singles
A great group of single adults that support and encourage each other. This class is particularly good for people who have or are going through the divorce process.
Friends Class (Room 203) Teachers:Barbara April and Gail McGhee
Intergenerational Ladies Class Ages 40’s – 70’s. Bible study consists of varying topics. The Friends Class coordinates the Salvation Army Project for children in the Richmond Metro area who, otherwise, might have no gifts for Christmas.
Martha Jeter Class (Room 205) Teachers: Della Hicks, Lib Bralley, and Andrea Salapka
Supportive and thoughtful of one another and is also actively involved in many projects., including a family that is given support throughout the year.
SENIOR SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS:
John Mann Fellowship Class, Edmondson Class, Cora Bosher Class Teachers: Charles Rasnick, Judy Elliott, and Deborah Bosserman
These classes include WGBC Seniors 60+ and up. The classes meet jointly in the Multi Purpose Room in order to share teachers. Each class maintains their own identity but do join classes to socialize, and hold joint fellowship activities. This is a strong caring group of people who have devoted their lives to sharing Christ’s love and grace to others. Everyone welcome to join. These class members care for each other during illness and other life events.
